Fireside Apple tree description
The Fireside apple has a green skin with scarlet stripes, which sometimes have a mottled orange flush. The crisp, juicy flesh is sweet, making this an excellent eating apple; but it is also good for baking, canning and freezing. Long-keeping and flavorful, these apples can usually be harvested in October. The aroma of apples at room temperature can permeate a kitchen. The tree is vigorous and hardy, with resistance to cedar apple rust. A cross between the McIntosh and the Longfield apples.
Zone 3-7. Large red striped fruit with yellowish flesh sweet, pleasant flavor. Ripens mid to late October, has good storage life, is resistant to cedar-apple rust. Excellent for eating or desserts.

Apple Tree Pricing
All apple trees will be available
for delivery as bare rootstock.
Shipping begins mid-April once the frost is out of the ground. All plants are shipped bare root from our family nursery in Midwestern Wisconsin. Please understand that commiting to a shipment date before this time frame just is not possible, however, if mother nature is kind and the ground thaws early then the trees will ship early. Every effort is made to ensure the plants you receive are healthy and ready to plant. However, it is impossible to guarantee planting results. Weather, soil conditions, insects and proper planting all play a part in successful growth.
We are not responsible for the plants health if you choose to order a plant that will simply not grow or survive in your area based on the pictured zone map. Please order responsibly.
