Pipestone Plum tree description

A hybrid plmum from the Minnesota Fruit Breeding Farm. The large fruit has red skin blushed with gold. The sweet juicy flesh is golden-yellowand of excellent quality. Very hardy, ripens in August and a heavy yielder. Needs cross pollination by another red variety, which we recommend Toka as a pollinator.

Zone 4-8. Immense in size, this red plum with red blush is very sweet and juicy. Excellent quality is fresh from the tree or in jams and jelly. Very hardy, ripening in mid season.

All plum trees will be available for delivery as bare rootstock.

Shipping begins mid-April once the frost is out of the ground. All plants are shipped bare root from our family nursery in Midwestern Wisconsin. Please understand that commiting to a shipment date before this time frame just is not possible, however, if mother nature is kind and the ground thaws early then the trees will ship early. Every effort is made to ensure the plants you receive are healthy and ready to plant. However, it is impossible to guarantee planting results. Weather, soil conditions, insects and proper planting all play a part in successful growth.
