Goldcot Apricot tree description

An apricot variety that can withstand cold winters, as researchers bred this tree in Michigan’s snow belt. Because of this you can be assured its hardiness, vigor and production will be consistent, even in areas with lower-temperature climates. The fruit has a deep, tangy flavor — perfect for fresh eating or canning. Cold-hardy freestone that ripens in early July. Also a self-pollinator.

Zone 4-8. Produces golden fruit up to 2" in diameter. Ripens mid to late July with good flavor for eating and amkes escellent jam. Self fruiting and heavy bearer.

Shipping begins mid-April once the frost is out of the ground. All plants are shipped bare root from our family nursery in Midwestern Wisconsin. Please understand that commiting to a shipment date before this time frame just is not possible, however, if mother nature is kind and the ground thaws early then the trees will ship early. Every effort is made to ensure the plants you receive are healthy and ready to plant. However, it is impossible to guarantee planting results. Weather, soil conditions, insects and proper planting all play a part in successful growth.
